Ever wonder what lurks below in the waters of the Columbia River? Castlegar hosts the confluence of the Kootenay and Columbia rivers where giant White Sturgeon roam. Every spring the Endless crew sets out to view these amazing creatures while they snack and sun bathe. The best way to see our prehistoric friends is from above while standing on a paddle board.
Let us treat you to a truly remarkable experience in the West Kootenays that you won’t soon forget. Our journey starts at the Lions Head Pub in Robson where we meet up and prepare for the experience. After an introduction to Stand Up Paddle boarding we paddle in search of the great White Sturgeon in its natural habitat. The crystal clear waters of the Columbia allow us the chance to see groups of Sturgeon up close and personal.
Tour starts in May through June depending on spring river run off. Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00pm to 8:00 pm and Sunday mornings at 9:00am to 11:00am.
